Leaving a Legacy

It's that time of year when the stress of the world seems to be closing in around you. Take a step back and take a deep breath. You are doing an amazing job! You are continuing to build champions while teaching kids life lessons, showing them it's okay to have fun while playing games with them in class, and building lasting relationships that teach kids it's okay to let people into their lives. Do not let the stress of the day, the week, or even the month steal your joy. Believe in yourself and your abilities. It will all work out in the end. I want you to know that I will continue to be your biggest supporter. I am here for you when you need a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, or a hug to to remind you how loved you are. Keep shining like the rock star you are! You are building and leaving a legacy that is unmatched! Momma T loves you!

Dabbling in the Debate World...While Teaching a Little Too

 

My Ian! Where do I begin? First, let me start off by saying that I am beyond proud of you! You are wise beyond your years, and you have accomplished more in your short time at Jersey Village than any other Speech and Debate coach. Your passion and commitment to kids is unmatched. Every day you walk into the building, you give your students all of you. You inspire and challenge them to push themselves further than they ever imagined. Because of you, they are achieving their greatness. Congratulations on all of your successes with the Speech and Debate program!

This year I challenge you to take time for you. Don't let the stresses of the job overwhelm you or steal your smile. Your smile is one of the greatest gifts you have to give others so let it shine! If you have an idea, go for it! Don't ever let anyone tell you that you are too young or inexperienced. You have already proven that you are more than capable of handling situations that even seasoned teachers wouldn't take on. Although I am not there physically right now, I am always in your corner cheering you on every step of the way!

Always remember to fight for what you believe in, no one else will do it for you (well except for me, but I am not there at the moment) lol. You are smart, you are special, you are kind, you are loved, and you are my guy! Continue to always do what you do with the passion and fire that burns within you. Keep dabbling in the debate world, while teaching a little too! Momma T loves you!
